I understand that the doctor-patient relationship is central to the practice of healthcare and is essential for the delivery of high-quality dental care. That said, playing dress up suggests the line between shame and professional excellence is very thin.
Maybe during a future run we can have a group discussion about “people I would like to dress up as while I am at work or sitting in a dental chair”
Jay- No self respecting dentist would ever resort to such antics to make a patient smile. They would simply administer a little N2O2 and tell them to take a deep breath. Look a little closer.
Within a few minutes of making a silly batman outfit out of exam table paper, the photo was posted on facebook by one of our nurses. What amazes me is how quickly people look at this sillyness.
Self-respecting pediatricians will pull out many more antics to make their patients smile. We don't have nitrous...
I would be happy to make any and all paper superhero costumes for the next run.
