Christian - thanks for letting me borrow the shoes... Today I ran 15 miles of pavement and non-technical trail in the Rouge Racers and have to say I liked them. Compared to the New Balance 970's (which I quite like) I found the Rogue Racers to have more forefoot control, a bit more cushioning across my entire foot, and greater impact protection. I felt the shoes have a nice balance of flatness, lightness, protection and durability. I'm impressed enough that I'm going to buy a pair and see if my first impression is accurate.
